Kitchen Remodel

We are in the finishing touches of our kitchen remodel. Here are a few before and after photos (finally)! Pictures to the side show the work as we tore the kitchen apart and the various stages of disaster we lived in since we started last December. Just in case you can't tell, we remodeled and stained the cabinets, tore off old tile and retiled the walls, put in a hood which included running a vent to the outside, (hidden in the false beam above the column)and added new appliances including my favorite - a wine fridge. Mel also removed a big square light fixture, added soffits, can lights, and built columns and display cabinets. We are really enjoying the new kitchen.

Mel accepted a job here last week so it looks like we'll be here awhile longer! Guess I'll be learning southern cooking in my new kitchen. Y'all come for a visit.
